    About this template

A sleep-quality radar moves beyond 'I slept 7 hours' to capture the dimensions that actually determine how rested you feel. Duration, consistency, REM, deep sleep and wakefulness together describe sleep architecture — and consumer wearables now measure most of them. Use it to compare a normal week to a stressed week, evaluate the effect of a habit change, or work with a sleep coach using shared evidence instead of self-reports.

    Attributes included

    • Duration

Total time asleep — typically 7–9 hours for adults.

    • Consistency

How stable your sleep and wake times are across the week.

    • REM

Percentage of sleep spent in REM, the dream and memory-consolidation phase.

    • Deep Sleep

Percentage in slow-wave sleep, where physical recovery happens.

    • Wakefulness

Inverted — fewer overnight wake-ups scores higher.
