    About this template

Hiring decisions made from gut feel and a scattered set of interview notes are where good candidates get rejected for vague reasons and weak ones get hired because they interviewed well. This scorecard puts every candidate on the same six axes — skills fit, culture fit, experience, communication, leadership potential, and problem solving — so a hiring panel can compare finalists on a shared, defensible basis instead of competing impressions. Use it after final-round interviews to structure the debrief, or across a whole pipeline to see which candidates are genuinely well-rounded versus strong on paper but shallow in the room. A candidate who spikes hard on experience but scores low on culture fit is a very different hire than one who's slightly less experienced but stronger across the board, and the radar makes that trade-off visible immediately rather than buried in conflicting interviewer opinions. Score independently before comparing notes to avoid anchoring the whole panel on the first strong opinion voiced.
